How did structuralism come about?

Originally, there was an atmosphere that "contemporary thought comes from France"

Structuralism was not just within the framework of philosophy (it had quite a wide range of influence)

What is Structuralism?

Structuralism (Habitus and cultural capital) denies the Eurocentric way of thinking inherited from Marxism → Innovation and exclusivity (Sartre)

It feels like they're very much fighting over that

It's noteworthy that it is able to paint over the thought that was originally dyed with Western philosophy

As you can see from the name "structure", it was able to succeed in relativeization (which hasn't really been done until now...)

Wrote a book called "Sad Tropical"

It can be read in the works of Marinovsky, Levi-Strauss (World Classics), which Previous companies, interviews and appearances related to oneself.icon has

The message is to "stop looking at them like, 'Those uncivilized and savage people are too bad'."

They were doing something with university professors and such, but they had a lot of circumstances and had free time

As a result, there were opportunities to talk to various top people (apparently), as described in First Introduction to Structuralism#607e339f09c5f20000be9dba

They learned structural thinking from these people and proposed the concept of "Reading with structuralist methods"
